All of the operations will be carried out on the iPA280: field sales, distribution, stock control and collection. The company will also be able to automate operational processes and relieve the bookkeeping workload whilst at the same time transmitting the orders, previously received by telephone and fax, over directly and preventing errors arising from communication problems.
Featuring integrated smart card, magnetic strip and contactless readers alongside an easy-load thermal printer, plus a barcode reader for powerful data capture and acquisition, the unique Ingenico iPA280 eliminates the need for multiple terminals while increasing the speed and value of each consumer interaction. Its comprehensive set of connectivity options, including Bluetooth, Wifi and GPRS/Edge assure flexible mobile operation, with location-based services delivered via an external GPS receiver.
The application developed by the Ingenico Turkey team as a specific response to Erisler Gida's business processes allows all sales made to bakeries and bread production centers out in the field to reach their headquarters simultaneously, so stock control and sales can be monitored concurrently. The scope of the project also includes the Ingenico Shared POS system, and integrates the option for payment in installments.
