Identive addresses the market for secure ID products and components through two divisions: the “ID Infrastructure Division” (formerly known as SCM Microsystems) and “Transponder Division” (formerly known as TagStar Systems and Smartag Pte Ltd).

Both divisions develop and manufacture standard and highly specialized ID infrastructure products and core RFID components that help to identify and track people, animals, and objects in a broad variety of applications and markets. These products and components include semiconductors, ICs, NFC and other RFID tags, inlays, and cards as well as readers and terminals that are used for applications such as eGovernment, eHealth, mobile banking, loyalty schemes, transportation & event ticketing, corporate identification, logical & physical access control, asset tracking, and animal ID.

In particular, the Transponder Division develops and produces RFID smart inlays for contactless tickets, labels, smart cards and specialized transponder products in both the HF and UHF frequency bands.
