The team members are experts in the ID card sector with many years of experience. “We have signed contracts with major suppliers for printers, ribbons and accessories,“ says Horst Wellhaeuser, founder and Managing Director. Sophisticated ID Solutions
hw-engineering GmbH & Co. KG was established in 2007 by Horst Wellhaeuser. Mr. Wellhaeuser has been well-known in the ID industry since he joined Digital Identification International GmbH (DII) in 2001. He was one of the two main founders of Digital Identification Solutions GmbH (DISO) (Currently AG) in 2003.
Horst Wellhaeuser has established his own company, hw-engineering GmbH & Co. KG, evolving his vast wealth of knowledge and long term experience in the field of ID cards into leading international blue chip companies.
Continuing the outstanding success, four companies were established to locally support different territories, assuring our existing, and new, customers and partners in the Middle East and North Africa of our continuous support. hw MENA W.L.L. was established in October 2009 and was able to achieve major projects such as driver‘s licenses and vehicle registration in the MENA region. Recently, hw-engineering was awarded another prestigious government project for the production of civil ID cards.
hw-engineering has remained persistently focused on offering the best products at the most competitive prices, concentrating more on strategic expansions that enable the growth of the company while containing overheads rather than blindly expanding our business presence abroad and making our consumers bear the brunt by having to pay more for less.
